Activities

Cycling Proficiency

Year 6 pupils take part in training for road safety during the summer term.  This is provided free of charge by Wrexham Road Safety Department.  Pupils take two tests at the end of the course in road theory and practical ability.  Successful candidates gain certification in cycling proficiency.

School Trips

School trips allow pupils to consolidate the classroom work they have undertaken or to gain life skills and self-confidence.  The main part of the costs of all trips is the transport.  We have to ask for a contribution from all parents concerned to help cover the buses and admission costs, without which we would have to probably cancel the arranged excursion.  Trips arranged this year include:

Date Event
January Junior pupils (years 4 & 5) have visited the Kingswood Centre near Wolverhampton for a 5 day residential course.
June Year 6 pupils enjoyed a 3 day residential visit to the new Urdd Centre at Cardiff.
